"Outer Space" is the second album by Roman guitarist Vincenzo Grieco, recorded together with the Exoplanets, with Giulio Giancristofaro on bass and vocals, and Piero Pierantozzi on drums, a trio. The album consists of ten tracks and can be seen as a representation of the color spectrum, with each track representing a different shade: sometimes blue is predominant because the “bluesy feel” is very present; however, “Outer Space” goes beyond the representation of the rainbow due to the presence of the non-color, black: Vincenzo Grieco and the Exoplanets have in fact paid homage to the dark matter of rock, to the Rock music of the '90s: that vintage sound that in its embrace includes the heavy guitar riffs of Mr. Big and Richie Kotzen, the dark roughness of Grunge from Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and the funk energy of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine. All this played with a “Hendrixian” touch. "
